Timeline of review
Please allow four weeks for the Scientific Operations Committee (SOC) to review your proposal and send a response.
After you have submitted your proposal, two researchers and one patient partner will be selected from the SOC to review your proposal. The committee will meet 2 weeks later to discuss the proposal and make a recommendation. You will receive anonymized copies of the reviews and a letter of endorsement, if the committee agrees it is merited. If the committee does not agree to endorse the proposal, you will receive a feedback letter and be encouraged to re-submit.
A representative of the committee will be available to discuss your proposal in more detail, if you wish.
If your proposal is successful in receiving funding, the CNTN can assist with other aspects of study start up and recommend resources in your geographic area. If your proposal is not successful, the SOC can assist in strengthening the proposal for the next round.
